As Fernando explains this farm wasn’t being really productive before Subsole took it over. But after the technical management applied in this site, productivity increased in almost a 35%, in just 1 year time.

He also thinks that the relationship between the workers and the executives is much closer now and that this had been essential for the improvement too. And the results are at plain sight: today they harvest kiwifruits of maximum quality.

In this video he shows us the Sociedad Agrícola y Ganadera Chucao farm, of about 20 hectares. The story of this farm begins on 1988, when along with his father and his brother-in-law they decided to get involved in the agricultural business world, even though at the time the 3 of them were developing their selves on other industrial areas. After a year searching for the right place, finally they found it at these beautiful lands, which today are giving excellent results.

The farm has different international certifications, like Global GAP and Tesco, among others. And the relationship with the workers is very good too.

This lands where bought on 2002 by Nama Internacional Company. At that time they made all the plantations, because before their arrival there was nothing on here. And this year, after tons of hard work and dedication, they will get the expected results, with a production of maximum quality.

Formerly this was a dry farm, but about 60 years ago, Carlos’ and Guillermo’s relatives made the irrigation channels which transformed these lands forever, making them much more productive.

This way, after tons of hard work and dedication, father and son had really made out something from these beautiful lands of the Maule Region.

This farm has 9 hectares of kiwifruits and had been obtaining the Global GAP certification every year, which guarantees the good job conditions they provide to the workers who produce this fruit. They also are constantly measuring the degrees Brix of their kiwifruits, always looking to get the maximum quality, being able to offer the best fruits of our lands to the world.

Here they show us the plantation of this new variety of yellow kiwifruits, which are located in an ideal terrain for their development.

Today they have a little farm of 8 hectares in Romeral, in the Maule Region, where they grow kiwifruits of first quality.

With a close-knit family, their children also work at this place and make their living from what nature gives them.

The climate and geographic conditions of this place are excellent, because kiwifruits need large amounts of water to develop well; and here they’ve got plenty of it. For these reasons the fruit grown here is of the maximum quality and reaches the supermarkets of all over the world.

Here they grow apples, pears, cherries and kiwifruits, of the Hayward variety. In this video we’ll see the orchard in which these last ones are produced.

Their land, in all of their species, are certificated by Tesco and Global GAP, which means that the quality of the fruit and the good labor conditions in which they are produces is guaranteed.
